 December storms are raging thoughout the land, keeping things "interesting". Here at IDMA H.Q., we are busy revamping IDMADVDA.org so we can reveal our new website in January. We had great turnout at GV Expo, and met many wonderful people who stopped by to say hi, and entered their names into our prize drawing. Winners have been selected, and are announced in our front page slideshow, above..
 IDMA will be exhibiting at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) on January 5-8 in Las Vegas.

We're busy putting the fishing touches on our new PDF newsletter, which will be full on interesting information before you find it here on the website. TWENTY YEARS OLD, FINALLY! The IDMA/DVDA will begin to celebrate its 20th anniversary in January, mere days away - check out the History of the IDMA , and review the IDMA/DVDA Hall of Fame to learn more about our historical contributors.
 OUR BIG ANNIVERSARY EVENT! EXCELLENCE 2010 "Twenty Years of Excellence" will take place in May, 2010 in
the Los Angeles area, and will feature a host of important technology
presentations about publishing digital media in all its forms, and we will
have tabletop demos from many of our technology partners, IDMA members,
and special sponsors. It will
also provide a special session with ALL of the CDIA, DVDA, and IDMA
executives who have presided over our association, recalling our growth
from humble beginnings to our present form.. This will be one heckuva day, and is NOT to be
missed. More info coming after the holidays.
IDMA AWARD SEASON is JUST AROUND THE CORNER - As is customary each spring, the IDMA Excellence Awards will open for submissions. This year, we will continue to have categories for all types of digital media - DVD, BD, mobile and online. We will also present special juried awards that celebrate the greatest paradigm-shifting events in the last 20 years of digital media. You won't want to miss this years' event!
