Jan '10 Post-GV Expo update, new IDMA site, URL, and news

IDMA/DVDA president Bruce Nazarian December storms are raging thoughout the land, keeping things "interesting".  Here at IDMA H.Q., we are busy revamping IDMADVDA.org so we can reveal our new website in January. We had great turnout at GV Expo, and met many wonderful people who stopped by to say hi, and entered their names into our prize drawing. Winners have been selected, and are announced in our front page slideshow, above..

IDMA Newsletter January 2010IDMA will be exhibiting at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) on January 5-8 in Las Vegas. A note of caution about BD replication
This note is NOT for those of you who have already successfully authored BD-ROM titles for replication - it's for everyone ELSE who visits this website, who may not yet have dug deeply into the BD format's stringent requirements.

While the AACS changes currently underway may make it financially more affordable for new authors to produce for Blu-ray replication a word of caution is in order: Just because you own a Blu-ray authoring tool doesn't mean you can make a replicatable Blu-ray Disc.  Read on for more...
